You can manage your shortcut in the Bose App. Out of the box, the factory default shortcut is set to linking, allowing you to use the button to link two compatible Bose speakers without the app.

Yes, when there is an incoming call, pressing the play/pause button will answer the call and double pressing the play/pause button will decline a call. Double press the play/pause button while in a call to end it.

Yes, SoundLink Flex (2nd Gen) floats, but is not designed to be used while in water. SoundLink Flex (2nd Gen) is designed to withstand accidental drops in water for up to 30 minutes. If SoundLink Flex (2nd Gen) is directly exposed to salt or chlorinated water, rinse with fresh water and allow to dry thoroughly before use.

If debris gets into the charging port or other parts of SoundLink Flex (2nd Gen), gently rinse with fresh water or compressed air. Be sure charging ports are thoroughly dry before charging. For the larger exterior surfaces, wipe clean with a soft cloth. Avoid using cleaning detergents and let the speaker dry completely before operating.
